Max Albrecht

(Instructor, Choreographer)

Max (AKA "Cinemax") began dancing at the age of 14, starting with breakdancing. He later moved his studies towaving, popping and urban hip hop. While most of his abilities were
self taught through videos, he began taking hip hop classes at many local dance studios.  He also studied contemporary, jazz and Broadway during this time. During his junior year of high school he became the first boy ever to join the dance team at North Olmsted High School. He also became the captain of the team his senior year. Max has danced and performed with many local Cleveland artists and has appeared in music videos. At the age of 16, Max began competing with an advanced hip hop team, and ended up winning 2nd place at the World Dance Competition in New York City. Along with hundreds of other hopefuls, Max auditioned for the Cleveland Cavaliers Scream Team in 2014, and earned a spot on that team. He became the youngest dancer to ever be on the Scream Team, and performed at multiple events through the Cavaliers; as well as all of the Cavalier’s home games during the 2014-2015 season. Max is currently a member of the award-winning hip hop crew ELEVĀTED. He teaches multiple hip hop classes at Caliber Dance Company, as well as hip hop workshops around Ohio.

 Kylie Bett

(Instructor, Choreographer)


Kylie has been dancing since the age of 3. She grew up in Buffalo, NY dancing at the Dance Spectrum studying under Stacey Friend. Kylie competed and performed in the Buffalo, Pittsburgh and New York City areas. Growing up Kylie had many performing opportunities and can be seen in the 2007 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Opening Number, the Dancing Princess in a Fisher Price Video game, and as an extra in The American Side (film). She also has had the privilege of working with world renowned choreographers Dana Wilson, Suzi Taylor, and Jon Lehrer. Kylie received her Bachelors in Communication and minor in Health and Wellness from the University at Buffalo. While attending college Kylie taught at various studios, including Danceability, a studio for children and adults with special needs. Kylie recently made the move to Cleveland to perform as a Charge Girl for the Cleveland Cavaliers' D League Team, the Canton Charge. She is excited to make Ohio home and to work with the dancers at Caliber Dance Company!

Kiera Naples

(Acrobatics/Tumbling Instructor, Choreographer)

Kiera Naples began dance at the age of 3. She took every class that she possibly could; including tap, jazz,
hip hop and ballet. Ballet was her favorite.  She became involved in competitive cheerleading, and ultimately decided that this was her passion. She competed at Ohio Cheer Explosion All-Stars for eight years. Her team competed nationally at some of the largest competitions in the United States, placing in the top three a majority of the time. One win in particular was the US Finals National Championship! Outside of Ohio Cheer Explosion, she cheered throughout middle school and high school.  She became a member of both the Brunswick High School Varsity Cheerleading Squad and the Brunswick High School Competition Cheerleading Squad. During her senior year, she was fortunate enough to be a part of the competitive team that won the 2013 NOC conference championship for cheerleading. This was the first time Brunswick had won in three years! From 2008 to 2012, she was a Cheerleading coach for Blue Devils Youth Football in Brunswick, where she choreographed and taught 5-13 year olds to cheer sideline for football teams and compete against the other cheer teams in the league. Her special talent is her flexibility and contortion. Currently, Kiera is working on her Masters in School Psychology.

Joey Ondo

(Instructor, Choreographer)

Joey Ondo is 19 years old and resides in the Cleveland, Ohio area.  He started dancing when he was 4 and it has been his life for the last 14 years. Joey’s primary dance training has been in tap, hip hop and tumbling with tap being his passion.  He has attended numerous conventions and competitions such as Jump, Nuvo, Velocity, and The Dance awards.  He has trained with some of the best in the industry, including Anthony Morigerato, Mike Minery, Mitchel Federan, Ricci Milan, Gigi Torres, Laura Edwards and JC Renzetti.  During his competitive years, Joey has been the recipient of many national titles, choreography awards, and Top Senior Soloist at Hall of Fame Dance, VIP Dance, and Star Systems. As a teacher and choreographer, Joey is most proud of mentoring his students, being a positive role model, and making dance fun!  He takes pride in his leadership and creativity skills.  He has received choreography awards for solos, duets, and groups.  His students have achieved overall high score awards and special judges awards.  Joey has also started his own media business enjoying photography, videography, and editing. He plans to keep teaching and pursuing more tap while attending college to get his business degree and enter the Media Arts and Film program.  Joey aims to inspire all those around him both rhythmically and artistically.

Maria Carlo

(Instructor, Choreographer)

Maria Carlo began dancing at the age of 3, starting with Ballet. From there, her love of dance grew with every class she took.  In 2007, Maria joined her studio’s competition team. It was then that she knew that she was meant for the competition stage. Throughout her years of competing, Maria has won a variety of awards including, but not limited to: overall high scores, special judge’s awards, multiple competition titles and invitations to participate in numerous Nationals opening numbers. For many years, Maria assistant taught before she was ready to teach on her own. She is able to teach and choreograph many genres of dance, such as Jazz, Tap, Lyrical and Contemporary; at both the recreational and competitive levels. She loves to dance but loves teaching dance even more. Maria isn’t just a dance teacher; she is a full-time college student. She has her Associate's Degree in applied Sciences from Cuyahoga Community College and is currently obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences at Cleveland State University. Maria hopes to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in the near future.



Nicole Golonka

(Instructor, Choreographer)


A recent graduate from Loyola University Chicago in 2019, Nicole holds degrees in dance and psychology. As an undergraduate researcher, she received the Provost Fellowship in 2017, which allowed her travel throughout the U.S., Cuba, and Italy by way of practice and performance-based research. Professional performance residencies include Mandala Dance Company, Line Out Dance Company, E. Sperimenti Dance Co., Karen Fantasia, and Nicolas Grimaldi Capitello. Additionally, Nicole has performed soloist roles in works by Rena Butler, Alice Klock, Carrie Hanson, and Randy Duncan and studied with the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, Northwest Dance Project, the Opificio Certificate Program, and the Seldoms. To further her passion for the intersection of dance and disability, she worked on the host committee for the Midwest Convening of Physically Integrated Dance in 2016 and actively teaches and volunteers in the field. As an emerging choreographer, she creates for both live performance and film and most recently was featured at the Emergence Choreographic Festival in Chicago. Nicole is excited to return to her hometown of Cleveland, OH to dance as a trainee with GroundWorks DanceTheater for their 2019-2020 season and join the staff at Caliber Dance Company!

Samantha Kost


(Choreographer)​

Samantha began dancing at the age of 3. Growing up, she trained in all styles of dance - jazz, contemporary, lyrical, modern, tap, ballet, acro, hip hop and ballroom and was a competitive dancer from the age of 5 through graduation from high school. After high school graduation, she began teaching at various studios and still does today.  Throughout the years, Samantha’s dances have been recognized for outstanding choreography, entertainment awards as well as being some of the highest scoring routines in the mini, junior, teen and senior divisions. “I absolutely love what I do. It never feels like “work.” Everyday I go to the studio and am pursuing a career that I enjoy and have fun doing. All of my students mean the world to me and there is no greater blessing then sharing my talents with them and watching them grow into beautiful dancers.”

​​Hayley Stovcik


(Owner, Artistic Director, Instructor, Choreographer)


Hayley Stovcik's dance education began at age 3 in ballet, tap and jazz classes; with baton, acrobatics, modern, lyrical, hip-hop, Pointe, voice and violin being added to her weekly repertoire of classes / lessons soon after. She started dancing competitively as both a soloist and group member in elementary school, and continued to do so until graduating from high school. Outside of the studio, Hayley was a four year member and captain of the Strongsville High School Dance Team, took master classes at the Broadway Dance Center and numerous conventions, and performed with Sesame Street...Live! By way of the Universal Dance Association (UDA), Hayley was chosen to and danced in the Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City in 2002. From 2003-2004, Hayley attended Baldwin Wallace University, was on the BWU dance team, and cast in numerous student and faculty dance concerts and recitals. In 2004, Hayley transferred to Ohio University, and began taking daily modern and ballet technique classes after auditioning for and being accepted into the acclaimed Ohio University School of Dance. The curriculum provided seminars in improvisation, visiting artists, dance concerts and weekly composition labs. She enrolled and participated in quarter long classes dedicated to dance history, theory, stage production, Pilates, jazz and African techniques. In 2007, Hayley graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ohio University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Dance Performance and Choreography. She has taught locally, at both a competitive and recreational level, since 2007. Her work has been recognized with overall high score and top choreography awards, as dancers bring her visions to life onstage and at competitions. Hayley enjoys sharing her love of dance, appreciation for diverse education opportunities and years of experience with the students of Caliber Dance Company; to guide them on a path of excellence as well-rounded young artists, performers and students. In the community, Hayley has choreographed for both GE Lighting and the United Way of Greater Cleveland's nationally recognized campaign kickoffs and anniversaries, and is a Berea Animal Rescue volunteer. In 2015, Hayley became certified in CIZE LIVE fitness instruction. In 2018, she received her certification from Acrobatic Arts in Module I.

Kyle Bowen

(Instructor, Choreographer)

Kyle (AKA "Kulex") started dancing at the age of 12, by way of teaching himself popping and waving techniques through various videos and dancers he admired.  He was completely self-taught for 5
years, until he turned 17 and began taking hip-hop and contemporary/jazz classes at local studios.  After only two months of formal hip-hop and jazz/contemporary training, Kyle joined an adult hip-hop competition team and took the highest awards at many of the competitions the team attended.  Throughout the season, Kyle performed across Northeast Ohio with the studio and competitive team.  Kyle partnered up with Max Albrecht to compete as a duo during the 2013-2014 competition season.  The routine that they choreographed themselves earned first place at several events, as well as special awards for "Incredible Musicality" and "Outstanding Performance" recognitions.  The two of them have performed and taught together at numerous events across Ohio, and have competed in 2vs2 all-style battles.  During Kyle's senior year of high school, he auditioned to perform at Brunswick High School's annual talent show.  Not only did he make the cut, he proceeded to win the show overall.  The following year, Brunswick asked if he would return for an encore performance before a new winner would be crowned.  Kyle has since been asked to perform on several occasions for the high school, such as pep rallies and showcases.  Since Kyle began his professional dance training, he has taken instruction from many of the hip-hop powerhouses in the business; such as Les Twins, Brian Puspos & Lando Wilkins from America's Best Dance Crew's Mos Wanted Crew, Andrew Baterina & Jill SanJuan of SoReal, and Brian & Mark Fucanan from Arkiteks.  Local musical artists, such as Cali Miles and Raydyant, approached Kyle, along with other local dancers, to perform in music videos they have created and uploaded to YouTube.  These videos, as well as dance videos he has uploaded, have received thousands of views. Kyle has taught workshops focusing on popping/waving and hip-hop technique, as well as hip-hop choreography classes.  He currently teaches both the recreational and competitive level dancers at Caliber Dance Company. Outside of the studio, Kyle is a Business Major at Cuyahoga Community College.  Kyle has been a member of the 
Cleveland Cavaliers Scream Team since 2016. 

Erika Rogers

(Choreographer)​


Erika Rogers began dancing at age four in ballet, tap, and jazz. Quickly after that, she added contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, hip hop, and acrobatics to her list of classes. She began dancing competitively at age 6 and quickly learned how big her love for dance was. Growing up in the studio, she began teaching her own classes at age 16 and has continued to teach ever since. After graduating high school, Erika attended the University of Cincinnati  for three years studying Childhood Psychology. While attending school, she has continued her passion for dance and decided to pursue a professional commercial dance career. Making her appearance in various music videos, movies, television shows, as well as training with world renowned choreographers and instructors. In 2018, Erika was offered a contract to dance with Rock The House Entertainment which allowed her to move back to her hometown. She transferred to Baldwin Wallace University where she is still studying Childhood Psychology and also a minor in dance. With plans and opportunities to move to New York City in the near future, Erika is grateful to be brought on board as a choreographer this season and is super excited to share her passion with the kids at Caliber Dance Company!!



Emily Sindyla

(Instructor, Choreographer)​

Emily has been dancing since she was three years old in jazz, tap, ballet, Pointe, contemporary, acrobatics, hip hop, lyrical, and musical theater.  As she continued to grow as a dancer, she competed and won Regional and National first place titles for solos and group numbers.  She then began to teach, sharing her love for dance with others.  Along with teaching, Emily has choreographed for local community theaters.  Emily graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bowling Green State University May of 2019 where she studied dance and business administration.  She had many performances for Bowling Green’s performing arts.  Emily also competed nationally with the BGSU Dance Team and was an avid member of University Dance Alliance.  Now that Emily is back in her home town, she is extremely excited to continue teaching, sharing her passion for dance with the students at Caliber Dance Company!
